Haris Youth Hostel
Haris Youth Hostel is located in the old part of town called Vratnik. The distance of the hostel to the old part of town is a light ten minute walk. The hostel is equipped with three large bedrooms - two five - bed rooms and one six - bed room-a living room, a terrace with a view of the city, and two bathrooms, and everything else you might need to feel comfortable.
Staff and our office is available 24 hours to improve your stay at the hostel as well as the town.

How to get there?
From the main Sarajevo bus and train station
By Tram:
Trams run approximately every 15 minutes between 5:30am and 11:30pm, with a reduced service on Sundays.
- Take tram No.1 and exit at the 8th stop (Bascarsija). You will need to buy a ticket from a kiosk (1.60KM) or the driver (1.80KM), and validate it in one of the machines on board.
- Once you are at the Bascarsija tram stop, the office is about 10 seconds away. If you stand with your back to the road with the tram on it, we are in front of you, to the right of Konzum supermarket and Hodzic butchers, and on the corner opposite the nearest mosque. There is a red, black and white sign above the window which reads 'Haris Youth Hostel'.
- If you want to go directly from the tram to the hostel, you can take bus No.52 (Bascarsija - Faletici) from the bus stop to the left of Konzum, next to the taxi stand. You can only buy your ticket from the driver, and it will cost 1.80KM.
- Exit at the second stop (Mejdan). On your right you will see a supermarket called 'Mak'. Walk down the hill on the street 'Vratnik Mejdan' with the supermarket to your left.
- Continue down the hill to Vratnik Mejdan 29 (on the right-hand side), and press the button marked 'Hostel', next to the wooden doors.
From Lukavica Bus Station
By bus:
Buses run every 15 minutes from 5:30am to 11:30pm Monday to Saturday, and every 20 minutes from 7:00am to 11:30pm on Sundays.
- Take bus number 31e (Vijecnica - Dobrinja) from the bus stop around 200m from the main station, and exit at the last station (Vijecnica). The journey should take around 30 minutes.
- From the bus stop, the office is about 3 minutes away. Turn right onto the street with the tram lines on it, and continue on this road until you come to the main 'Pigeon' square on the left-hand side. On your right, you will see a row of shops facing you. If you stand with your back to the square, we are to the right of Konzum supermarket and Hodzic butchers, and on the corner opposite the nearest mosque. There is a red, black and white sign above the window which reads 'Haris Youth Hostel'.

From Sarajevo International Airport
If you are arriving by plane, the best way to get to our office or hostel is by taxi. This shouldn't cost more than 30KM, but it's a good idea to ask the price before you get in. Alternatively, you can contact us and we can organise transport for you.
